Job Description
As a Technical Solution Analyst, your role involves conducting investigations on front-end applications. This includes capturing information, applying fix tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally. Backend techniques to be used include gathering log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and cycling servers.
Effective verbal and written communication with clients and internal collaborators is key. You will document notes, activities, resolutions, and knowledge articles throughout the investigation lifecycle, prioritizing work based on severity to balance client and business needs. Collaboration across teams ensures that issues are addressed by the right people.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations on front-end and back-end systems.
- Gather log files, query database tables, and update database fields.
- Apply fix tools and shadow end users for troubleshooting.
- Cycle servers and test workflows both internally and externally.
- Document notes, activities, and resolutions for knowledge base.
- Prioritize work based on severity and client/business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in application support, client/customer support, incident management, problem management, or change management.
- Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language).
- Readiness to work 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST and other shifts as required.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work with global collaborators.
Preferred Skills
- Application support experience.
